Looking for the perfect twist on the classic mimosa recipe? You’re in luck! I’ve crafted a beautifully sweet, Watermelon Mimosa that will be a sure hit at your next brunch with your girlfriends. The pairing of tangy orange juice, subtly sweet Tropicana Watermelon juice and champagne takes the classic Mimosa up 10 notches. This Watermelon Mimosa is perfection in a glass if I do say so myself. And it’s super simple to make! How simple you ask? The Tropicana Watermelon juice made creating this cocktail a breeze. I didn’t have to worry about juicing an entire watermelon and hauling out my blender and strainer! Find out how simple by jumping to the recipe below…
INGREDIENTS
Orange Juice (I used Tropicana Orange Juice, No Pulp)
Tropicana Watermelon juice
Champagne
Fresh watermelon, cubed (don’t want to hassle with a fresh melon, grab a container in the freshly prepared section!)
DIRECTIONS
Drop a handful of fresh watermelon cubes in your favorite glass. Fill ? of the glass with Orange Juice, fill ? of the glass with Tropicana Watermelon juice and fill ? of the glass with Champagne. Serve and enjoy!
I served this Watermelon Mimosa in a non-brunch setting (because why not?! lol) and even the guys enjoyed it. My hubs is not a super sweet, fruity beverage drinker, but he loved this Mimosa. The Tropicana Watermelon juice (which has no artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors) cut the tangy sweetness of the orange juice in half and made it enjoyable for him to drink. I can’t wait to have my girlfriends over and make a batch. This drink could easily be turned into a pitcher drink. Same concept with ?, ?, ? as above. Chill until you are ready to serve.Have some friends that prefer a non-alcoholic version, simply skip the champagne. The orange juice and Tropicana Watermelon juice are a great blend together without it. Your friends will NOT be missing out on the deliciousness, I promise!
**Always drink responsibly!
