Recently, I accepted the #SallyHairDare Challenge to do something different with my hair. I thought it would be fun to shake things up a bit. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve colored my hair and so I thought why not take the challenge. I was sent the Ion® Color Brilliance® Brights Metallics Temporary Hair Color to test out for my challenge and as soon as it arrived, I knew I wanted to test the Rose Gold Metallic Hair Makeup color and the Gold Metallic Hair Makeup color. Y’all…this was so fun!!! Look at that gorgeous metallic Rose Gold color!!! The process was really simple. All I needed was clean, dry hair, something to put the color in (that was easiest for me), some gloves and an applicator (although I think you could skip this part…again something easier for me to use). I decided to basically try a “dipped” look by painting the color on the bottom of my hair. After you get it where you want it, you have to blow-dry it dry. So I recommend that you try and apply the color evenly and not too heavy of a coat so that it dries faster. I think from start to finish, I had my new temporary color on my hair within 30 minutes. It was extremely fast! The temporary color stays in your hair up until about 1-2 washes. It truly is temporary. So if you want to play with fun color, this is the route you could try! All of the fun colors! Here’s a SnapChat montage of me testing out the Rose Gold color: Are you ready for to take the #SallyHairDare???
Here’s are some screenshots of the process…
