It’s Moonshine Friday. I’m back with another delicious moonshine recipe. This one is so so good. Yes, I know I’m biased, but I keep knocking these moonshine recipes out of the park. So meet the latest to the bunch: my Strawberry Passion Paloma Moonshine.
STRAWBERRY PASSION PALOMA MOONSHINE INGREDIENTS
Passion Honey Syrup
3/4 c. water
1/3. agave syrup
2 Tazo Passion tea bags
Directions: Add water and agave syrup in a small saucepan. Bring to a low boil and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add tea bags. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes. Allow syrup to cool.
Cocktail
**Makes 1 cocktail**
3 oz. fresh grapefruit juice (a little more than 1/2 a grapefruit)
2-4 Tablespoons Passion Honey Syrup
1 oz tequila
1 oz Passion Tea infused Moonshine (add 1 tea bag to 3 oz of moonshine and let steep for 30 minutes)
4 fresh strawberries sliced
Sparkling water, to top off each cocktail
Ice
Salt
Directions
Add sliced strawberries and Passion Honey Syrup to a cocktail shaker. Muddle together. Add the Grapefruit juice, tequila, Passion Tea infused Moonshine and ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake shake shake. Rim a chilled low ball glass with salt (use the left-over grapefruit halve to wet the rim) and then pour the mixed cocktail into the glass. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a fresh strawberry. Enjoy!
