Loving all the Springtime weather and flowers and time spent outdoors. I’ve recently been on a homemade lemonade kick. There’s nothing better than the homemade version. Throw in some vodka, some fruit and you’ve got yourself a yummy cocktail. Skip the vodka and it’s a yummy mocktail! Let’s get to the Raspberry Vodka Lemonade recipe! And after…some more lemonade recipes!
Ingredients
1 jigger Raspberry Simple Syrup (recipe below)
1 jigger Vodka
Lemonade (recipe below)
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker full of ice. Add in Raspberry Simple Syrup and Vodka. Shake till combined. Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour in cocktail shaker ingredients. Top off the glass with lemonade. Enjoy!
Raspberry Simple Syrup Ingredients
2 cups sugar
3 cups water
1 package of fresh raspberries, washed
Directions
Pour all ingredients into a saucepan over low-medium heat. Cook for 20-30 minutes. Let the syrup cool to room temperature before using.
Lemonade Ingredients
2 cups sugar
3 cups water
12 whole lemons
4 cups of additional water
Ice
Directions
Heat the sugar and water in a medium saucepan until dissolved. Juice the lemons. Pour lemon juice in a pitcher, add in 3/4ths of the simple syrup, add in the ice and pour in 4 cups of water. Stir. Adjust taste by adding in more water or simple syrup.
