5. Favorite book centered around the holidays?
Here are my answers:
1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it.
Are you shocked to read that I’m in between books right now??? It’s shocking to me! LOL I just looked at my reading goal for the year and I’ve got 12 more books to read between now and the end of the year. WHOA baby.
I did just finish (last week, mind you) The Seeds of a Daisy by Alison Caiola and LOVED it. Review coming soon.
2. Now that we’re coming up to the holidays, are there any books you like to return to or remind you of childhood?
I rarely return to a book and I can’t think of any book that reminds of childhood specifically during the holidays. Outside of the holidays, Nancy Drew, Babysitter’s Club and Sweet Valley High are those childhood books.
3. Do you have any new books on your wishlist?
Always. My lists will always be longer than I can actually read. I keep saying this, I wish someone would just pay me to read/review their books. Maybe even read for errors because I’m fantastic at reading for errors. Not grammar errors (like sentence structure), but misspelled words or misused words (spelled the wrong way). I’m good at that.
4. Favorite book you’ve ever received as a gift?
As a kid, I loved receiving the old Nancy Drews. As an adult, books signed by my favorite authors. My dad was recently in Savannah, GA and I asked him to stop by the antique/gift store over on Tybee Island where Mary Kay Andrews has her junking treasures for sale. I wanted to see if she had her recent book in there, a signed version. And she did!! SCORE!
5. Favorite book centered around the holidays?
It’s a classic…The Christmas Carol.
Now it’s time for you to link up!
