Ohhh, y’all..I’m so excited to be sharing my first ever DIY Hair Tutorial with you!! I wear scarves a lot in my hair and thought it’d be fun to show you one of my looks. It’s super simple and well, I don’t think you can really go wrong with a scarf in your hair. 😉 But before I get to the tutorial, I want to share with you how I was finally able to get my hair to celebrate being smooth. My hair is naturally stick straight but it has frizz. Like TONS of frizz. I am always battling the frizz. It’s crazytown in my hair. I was sent the Smooth Made Simple products to try and O.M.G. they worked! Here’s what you do to get your hair to celebrate SMOOTH!
Before the Steps in the Graphic: Wash your Hair with the TRESemmé 7-Day Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Condition with TRESemmé 7-Day Keratin Smooth Conditioner.
ONE | After you towel-dry your hair, section your hair.
TWO | On each section of your hair, use several pumps (my hair is fine, so I used 2 pumps per section) of TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Flat Iron Smoothing Spray.
THREE | Comb the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Flat Iron Smoothing Spray through your hair once you’ve added into each section.
FOUR | Blow-dry your hair.
FIVE | Heat up your Flat-Iron.
SIX | Flat-Iron your Hair.
SEVEN | Enjoy your new Smooth Hair!! It’s Smooth Made Simple!
Feel free to Finish your new Smooth Hair with the Suave Professionals Luxe Style Smooth Hairspray.
Now let’s talk about my DIY Scarf Hair Tutorial:
ONE | Grab 2 Bobby Pins
TWO | Grab the Suave Professionals Luxe Style Smooth Hairspray
THREE | Take a top section of your hair from the front.
FOUR | Tease behind and spray with hairspray.
FIVE | Form a bump and pin down with the Bobby Pins.
SIX | Enjoy your new bump!
SEVEN | Spray the front with Hairspray.
EIGHT | Grab your favorite scarf. Fold into a triangle and then fold over 1-2 more times.
NINE | Place the scarf behind your neck and pull your hair to the side to get out of your way.
TEN | Bring the scarf ends up over your head and behind your bump.
ELEVEN | Tie in a knot so that the knot sits behind your bump and on top of the bobby pins. Let the tails hang down on each side.
And now you have an extremely cute half-up-do with a gorgeous scarf in your hair! Celebrate your newly Smooth Locks with this playful, girly look!

I love how you put the scarf in your hair! I love wearing headbands in my hair but I feel like they never stay put! I need to try the TRESemmé smooth stuff, my hair has frizz and seems to be so dry in the winter.
