Skin care has always been important to me. I remember when I was younger, my mom got involved with a skin care company and she’d have facial parties and makeup parties and well parties that all centered around taking care of your skin. I had ample supply of samples to test out once I got old enough. I remember trying out a mud mask for the very first time and thinking “I think my face is going to break” LOL Obviously it didn’t but that first skin-tightening experience was wild!! My skin is combination skin and in the warmer temps leans more towards oily. It can be tricky switching products between seasons to make sure my skin stays hydrated and moisturized and clean. Most people think that your beauty routine all happens in the morning, but let me tell you…put your body to work for you at night time. You kind of go in “repair” mode at night, so you might as well give your skin a boost by adding these skin care tips into your nightly beauty routine.
TIP #1: TAKE.YOUR.MAKEUP.OFF.EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT
There really shouldn’t be any further explanation. But seriously. Take it off. Let your pores breathe!!! Leave some wipes on your night stand if you are too lazy to do this in your bathroom. I’m not kidding. I know that’s probably really hard, but you should really be striving for that. Your skin (and body!) will thank you for it. So go to bed!! Facebook and Instagram can wait! 😉
TIP #5: Take care of your hands!
Slather on the hand cream at night. Heck, grab a pair of socks and slip them on after your slather the hand cream on. Our hands take a beating every single day. Pamper them!! They need a lot of TLC!
