Happy September 1st!!! Bring on the Pumpkin Spice and the cooler weather. This humidity is killing me!! It’s still 90? here in Texas and I’m SO.OVER.IT. 😉 And I’m sure I’m not the only one. LOL This outfit just screams fall to me. And I’m pushing the fashion limits by choosing to wear white even after Labor Day. Who’s with me?? Let’s band together to show people how to wear white jeans this fall.
So crazy story…some of you know that I co-own a Vintage Rental business. Our “warehouse” space is a couple of storage units because we are still fairly new to the industry (2 years next month) and aren’t yet to a point where we can move into an actual warehouse-type space (goals!). But we are busting at the seams as far as space is concerned in these units. We need a way to bring in shelving to take advantage of the height of our units. So cue me hunting for industrial shelving. I’ve been watching several auctions over the past few months with industrial shelving/pallet racking systems going through. Some people were running the prices up on these shelving units so incredibly high. I couldn’t even come close to touching them. And then I had the problem of having to buy them in huge lots of like 20 shelving units.
This past week, I was finally successful. I did have to buy a large lot of them but I was finally able to get them at a price that didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. So that’s what I’ll be doing over this long weekend…adding pallet racking systems to one of our units. And it’s going to be 90?. Oy vey. LOL
Please just bring on the fall weather, Texas. It would be so amazing.
TCU Football kicks off this weekend. SUPER EXCITED. I will definitely put all heavy lifting to the side to make sure I partake in my first college football game of the weekend. Who is your go-to team/college team??
