Do you wear white outside of the times that you “aren’t” supposed to wear white?? That’s totally me. I don’t know why that rule exists. I know it doesn’t apply in the summer, but I’m the girl who continues wearing white before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. 😉 I like to defy the fashion rules. ha!
I got these distressed white jean shorts (Kut from the Kloth Lonnie Distressed Boyfriend Denim Short) in one of my recent Stitch Fix boxes. I’m a fan of white pants and white shorts so I was excited to see these show up in my box. I paired my white jean shorts with a cami underneath a loose fitting graphic tank and a denim vest. Rounding off the look are some Sam & Libby sandals that I picked up from Target last season.
I’m glad my photographer humors me when we are out shooting my outfits. And totally doesn’t think I’m huge dork when I ask if I can swing from a tree branch. 😉 Sometimes we just have to let our inner child out and celebrate. So that’s what I did. 😉

I seriously don’t understand that white after memorial day to labor day rule….wonder who made it up? I wear white jeans throughout the year and don’t really care if it’s correct or not! Love your jean vest!

I love wearing white jeans in summer…but I am constantly paranoid about getting stains on the backside! I carry a Tide To Go pen just in case. I love the denim vest with the white shorts in this look!
