When I’m out running errands or meeting friends for Sunday brunch, I typically keep my look fairly casual like in this oversized plaid shirt. I don’t get to dress up to the nines very often, so my wardrobe tends to lean towards comfy-casual. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE high heels and any excuse to dress to the nines, you do not have to ask me twice. LOL But for every day occasions, give me a tshirt and jeans. Or in the cooler temps, give me an oversized shirt with my tshirt.
I am in LOVE with this oversized plaid shirt. I mean think boyfriend style: oversized, comfy, feels worn in. The only problem with this outfit is that when I went to link to the items, I realized they were already sold out. Popular much?! LOL I did link you to a comparable plaid button up shirt. This outfit can be taken up several notches by pairing it with some faux leather leggings and a pair of Chuck Taylors. If you don’t already own a pair of Converse sneakers, you are seriously missing out.

Great look! I like wearing long plaid shirts over leggings too. What I most enjoy is that while, yes, it has some masculine elements (plaid, oversized shirt) and is a comfort piece, overall when I go for this look, I feel really feminine and girly – maybe it’s the overall presentation or that leggings and wearing such an oversized top piece are fairly exclusively feminine experiences.
