Great list and this also works for the single lady who’s purchasing her first home. I can say that from experience. I’m in my early thirties and thought why should I have to wait for marriage to get the coveted “wedding registry” items. With a little time and patience (and serious bargain shopping) I’ve slowly collected the items you mentioned with the quality that will stand the test of time. Or so I hope. Awesome list and I’ll be sure to use yours too. Thanks

I think you nailed it! I’d also like to add that I think you should get to register all over again at the ten year anniversary mark, when all those small appliances you got for your wedding coordinate an attack and stop working! HA! 🙂

Great list!! We went to Germany for a year following our wedding and everyone gave us linens because they would “pack well”. A lifetime supply! That we couldn’t take with us anyway. We missed out on a lot of things that would have really been helpful! Ah,well — It was the thought, right? This will also be a great list to for other gift giving occasions. Pinned. Thanks!

I find it interesting that you love glass cutting boards, I have never really been a fan, myself. I think it’s because of my tendency to break wine glasses and measuring cups, so I have a fear of extra glass things.
