Here are my answers:
1. What are you currently reading? Tell us about it.
Miss Delacourt Has Her Day by Heidi Ashworth
Goodreads.com Synopsis: MISS DELACOURT HAS HER DAY is truly an old-style Regency romance with all the things we enjoyed about them years ago. This story is the sequel to MISS DELACOURT SPEAKS HER MIND (December 2008) and takes up after Anthony and Ginny have met and fallen in love. Take a journey back to early English life and once again revel in a true historical romance this month – you’ll love it.
I just finished reading the first book in this series, called Miss Delacourt Speaks Her Mind which I ended up loving. So, naturally, I had to start this one. ๐ I’m a little over half way through it and it has me hooked. Started much faster than the first one. ๐
2. Who is your favorite book character and why?
Hmmmm….this is super hard. Probably Claire Randall from The Outlander Series (Diana Gabaldon). She’s resourceful, knowledgeable, witty, has spunk and just an all around rockstar in my book. ๐
3. What would the title of your memoir be?
The Texas Jane of All Trades
4. You be the director! Cast your favorite book characters for the movie version that has not yet been made.
The Book turned Movie:
The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern)
Characters:
Cecelia Bowen: Emma Stone
Marco Alisdair: Ryan Gosling
Isobel Martin: Rachel McAdams
Penelope “Poppet” Aislin Murray: Bailee Madison
Winston “Widget” Aiden Murray: Bryce Hurless
Prospero: Geoffrey Rush
Tsukiko: Lucy Liu
Alexander: Sean Connery
5. What book or series do you remember reading as an elementary/middle school age?
Babysitters Club, Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High (am I dating myself?? LOL)

Brighton Harper says
I love your casting of The Night Circus! I would love to see that as a movie but I’d be worried that a lot of the magic of the book would not translate well onto the big screen.
Kakers says
Yes I love that you have people from the Night Circus I need that made into a movie like last week. Oh and sweet valley high were such a big deal back in the day.

Heidi Ashworth says
Thanks for your lovely review! The Outlander books are on the short-list for which I would bring if I were to be stranded on a desert island. : ) I just wanted to let you know that there is a Christmas novella out as an ebook on Amazon about Ginny’s and Sir Anthony’s first Christmas together and on Friday the 21st, the next book in this series is OUT–it’s about their daughter and the Avery’s son. Fun stuff!
