The boho style is another one of my favorite styles and I’m excited to see how much of an impact this style has been having on the runways this year. To me its effortlessly-chic. It’s a bit edgy with a romantic vibe. The prints can be bold but the whole look is soft and feminine. Everything about it is perfect in my eyes! Today, I’m showing you how to style an Asymmetrical Dress with a gorgeous tribal print that I picked up from World Market…it’s the perfect breezy boho look. I paired this dress with a sun hat, wedge sandals, dainty jewelry and an oversized tote. Perfect for a day at the beach or lake, shopping with your friends or date night!
I’m truly loving this outfit and cannot wait to wear it again! All the pieces (sans the shoes) are from World Market! Did you know you can buy clothes and fashion accessories there?? They have some really cool pieces right now that are oozing with boho-vibe. Some of my other favorites include this White and Blue Embroidered Della Tunic, this Ivory and Blue Faraa Dress and this Navy Paisley Everly Maxi Dress. So much goodness!!
What really classifies as Boho? Boho is short for Bohemian. And it’s inspired from the free-flowing looks from the 60s and 70s. It’s stylized with long-flowing skirts and dresses, peasant blouses, ethnic touches like tunics, wooden jewelry, fringe, embroidery or beads. And it’s colorful.
Funny story about this shoot: the wind was OUTRAGEOUS in downtown Fort Worth. One thing I remember most about my college days of coming into downtown was the wind tunnels. And years later, it’s still the same. It can literally knock you on your rear! It was so windy, I thought my hat was going to fly away and then I thought I was going to be knocked off my wedge sandals. LOL Crazy town!!

Wow! This dress is superb! I love the handkerchief hem and the print and the colors! So fabulous. And your wedges are amazing, too. I have a very similar pair in chocolate brown from about 5 years ago that I totally forgot about…but now that am reminded, I may have to pull those out of hiding.

I love this look on you, from the hat to the shoes! The leather deep brown wedges are so pretty with this and would look great with neutrals, and so much. This dress is fab. Love the print and all of the colors, the oranges, browns, blue, the shape just makes it that much more special.
Thanks for linking up with Turning Heads tuesday!
