1. What part of Texas do you call home?
A little town south of Fort Worth
2. How long have you been blogging?
I started my first blog in 2010. But it was hit or miss. I really got going October of 2011.
3. Why did you start blogging?
I had to move out to West Texas (Midland) for work. My hubby stayed behind in our town. I was out in a town all by myself (I knew some of my coworkers thankfully) and the nights quickly got really lonely. So I got back into blogging to help ease some of that loneliness.
4. When we visit your blog, what can we expect to discover?
I like to talk about random things going on in my life, show off my attempts of fashion and love of shoes, provide learning opportunities/experiences for bloggers, share my love of reading and show-off my crafts/recipes. I like to think I dabble in a little bit of everything. 😉
5. How did you come up with your Blog Title and what is its meaning?
I am a country girl. I’ve never really lived in a big city (unless you want to classify Fort Worth as a big city). I love all things Pink. I’m restoring a 1954 GMC Pickup truck which will be painted pink soon!! (The truck in my header is my actual truck.) And I love high heels. So you put all that together and you get Pink Heels Pink Truck. 🙂

6. What do you love about being part of Texas Women Bloggers?
I love being part of this amazing community. I love leading this amazing community. I’ve got big plans for the Texas Women Bloggers and I can’t wait to bring you all along for the ride. 🙂 We are about Gathering Together, Growing Together and Connecting with Each Other.
7. Who inspires you to blog?
My blog friends inspire me to blog. 🙂
8. If you could pick a favorite blog post from this past year, what would it be?
Oh my gosh…this one is tough!! I’m going to pick this Dear Me Letter that I actually published on the TXWB site. It’s a letter to my beginning blogging self and think it very fitting to include in this getting to know me post. 🙂

Wow! Props to you and your hubby for making the long distance work. I’m not sure I would survive…but then again, this is coming from a stay at home mom. LOL I think back in my working days it might have worked.
Also, that’s really neat that you’re restoring that truck. I can totally see you driving that once it’s restored. Just fits in with the you I’ve “been getting to know” through your posts. And I love that you’re painting it pink! It will be a one and only! Love that!
(And just curious – is that your wedding rings on your right hand? If I’m right, have to say props to you. Not sure why, but I’ve actually thought about doing that before. You may have a reason, I would have just been doing it because it’s soemthing I thought about doing. Ha!)

I love today’s post! So great to get to know you better! I actually used to be blonde, too! I was actually born a blonde, so I always get such strange looks when people discover that I’m not a “natural” redhead. Although, the particular hue of red I have goin’ on right now isn’t natural for anyone. haha 🙂
