Hey ya’ll! (Yep, still talkin’ Texas!) It’s Lauren from Lauren McBride and I’m back for another fashion installment! Today I’m going to be talking about spring jacket trends that you must jump on this season! I love having a light jacket for chilly spring mornings, and I’m definitely picking up a few of these for my closet! So let’s go!
STRIPED BLAZER // I’m a huge fan of blazers with boyfriend jeans, and I love how the stripes on this one make it a little more casual and fun. It’s on sale right now at Old Navy, so definitely snatch one up! The black and white stripe make it versatile enough to pair with more vibrant patterns or a simple black t-shirt like I did here.
CARGO JACKET // The casual-ness of cargo jackets get me every time. This trend has actually managed to stay around for years, and I’m so happy for that because it’s one of my favorites! I love styling cargo jackets with everything from dresses to jeans; the versatility is endless!
DENIM // I’m pretty sure everyone already has one of these in their wardrobe, but I’m listing it again here because it’s such a classic piece! I recommend having denim jackets in multiple colors, including a dark denim, light denim, and even white denim.
TRENCH VEST // This is one of my favorite new trends for spring. The trench vest looks like a blazer with the sleeves chopped off, and I LOVE it. I think it looks classic and chic over a white tank with some jeans and heels…perfect for a night on the town.
PASTEL LEATHER // I have multiple leather jackets in my repertoire, but I love this pastel pink one. It adds a pop of color without being too vibrant, and it’s perfect for the spring season. This jacket can be worn with jeans and heels, or even a pair of jogger pants and casual white sneakers. This one is on my must-have list!
FLORAL BOMBER // If this doesn’t scream spring, I don’t know what does! Floral bomber jackets have been around for a couple seasons now, and I love how they are casual with a pop of flair. Again, I would wear this with a pair of boyfriend jeans or joggers, or even a fun leather skirt. It’s surprisingly versatile for such a vibrant print!
What trend are you planning on trying this spring???
