Warning…warning…you may need sunglasses for this post. 😉
How many of you are ready for solid warm weather temperatures?? In my last fashion post (the camo and leather outfit), I had a lot of my readers tell me they were still seeing cold weather and snow! Holy cow! Y’all need to move to Texas. LOL We’ve been in the 70s-80s since mid-March. I could not “do” the Northern weather on a year-round basis. Props to those that do!! I’ve been slowly collecting kimonos since last fall and absolutely LOVE this one I picked up from Forever 21! The barely-there floral pattern in the muted pastel tones with a touch of lace/crochet is such a perfect compliment to my mint green shorts. And to keep things hipster, gotta go with my Chuck Taylors!
The warmer weather means I start bringing out the shorts and capris which also equates to showing off some skin. 😉 During the winter months, I’m constantly working on keeping up the moisture levels in my skin because let me tell you…dry skin is super itchy and is really no fun. I slather on lotion day and night in order to make sure my skin stays moisturized. Vaseline® brand lotions have always been a tried and true product for me. I think I could own stock in it with as much lotion as I buy. No lie…I’ve got a 32 oz bottle of the Vaseline® Total Moisture sitting on my nightstand as I’m typing. And it’s my “leave behind” bottle so that I don’t have to continually lug it around. 😉
Anyways, I was super excited to learn about one of their latest products…Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Healing Serums. I’m always up for trying out new things. It’s good to continually switch up your products so your skin doesn’t get used to what your putting on it. I have no clue if there’s any scientific reasoning behind my thought process there, but it sounds logical, so I’ll just go with it. The new Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Healing Serums are formulated with superior, highly concentrated healing ingredients and come in three different non-greasy variants: Advanced Relief (Moisturizes to heal and calm severely dry skin), Radiance Restore (Moisturizes to heal and restore radiance to dry, dull skin) and Deep Repair (Deeply moisturizes to heal rough cracked skin).
Shorts: Target | Shirt: Walmart | Kimono: Forever 21 | Shoes: Chuck Taylor’s
I had the opportunity to test out the Advanced Relief formula. It’s got such a light floral smell that’s amazing. It could totally work as a perfume as a bonus! I like that it’s non-greasy. It feels a bit greasy when you apply it, but once it’s on that definitely goes away!
Which Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Healing Serums formula would you buy?

I also really need to find a new cream and I think I’ll give Vaseline a try, it has been years since I last tried them.

The mint colour of your shorts is so pretty in the sunshine (and we really did need those sunglasses looking at your post!). We think the skincare regime courtesy of Vaseline is totally working for you. Your skin looks radiant! Super pretty kimono too… You’re making us very jealous with the weather, as we’re still pretty chill across the pond over here in London.
