With spring and summer fast approaching, it is time for some parties! I have a few baby and wedding showers this spring, and we’re always looking for a fun ways to display our goodies on the table. This DIY Tiered serving tray will be perfect!
I started with 2 different sized plates and a small bowl from target. They were in the summer/summer decor section of the store. I opted for a small bowl on top instead of another plate because it would be perfect for some dip, or perhaps some small candies. The plates could easily be found at thrift stores as well; but I happened to find these fun dishes at Target so that made it easy to pick them out.
For the center pillars I used a couple ice cream dishes from the local thrift store, candle sticks would have also been an option; or even some fun cocktail glasses. The final item needed is gorilla glue to adhere all the items together.
Put a thin line of gorilla glue along the rim of the bowl and base then adhere it to the plate. Apply pressure (as in set a book on top) and let it dry for 24 hours.
Once it is together, the plates are perfect for holding finger sandwiches, cookies, fruit or veggies.
Do you have any upcoming parties? Do you like to use fun serving dishes for them?
