Watching The Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and I’m wrapped in blankets because my house stays in artic-like temps year round. Anyone else’s significant other like an ice cube for a house?? How I missed this Night at the Museum, I’ll never know. This was a fun series of movies.
Basking in the fact that 100 Layer Cake just featured this Havana Inspired Engagement Shoot on their website. My rental company, Sugar Creek Vintage Rentals, provided the rental decor & styling services. Check out the feature and let me know if this would be something you would do for your own Engagement party.
Wondering what Moonshine Cocktail recipe I’m going to concoct next. What are your suggestions?? I’m about to go down inspiration road to see what might inspire me.
Loving the Acoustic Covers playlist on Spotify. I can listen to this channel all day long. Actually, most of the time, at work, I am listening to this channel. It keeps me in a really good mood.
Wishing that every year I could have a 3-day weekend to celebrate my birthday. Yep…my birthday was on Friday. Happy Birthday to me!
Craving another bowl of King Ranch Chicken Casserole that my MIL made for us tonight for dinner. But am snug as a bug in a rug, so not sure if that’s going to happen. Although I am getting a bit thirsty too, so another helping might be in my future.
On the hunt for another book to read. I just recently finished The Simplicity of Cider by Amy E. Reichert. I had read Amy’s The Coincidence of Coconut Cake and fell in love with her writing. When I heard she was releasing another book, I jumped at the chance to read it. And it didn’t disappoint. It releases May 16th, but you can reserve your copy of The Simplicity of Cider now!!
Wearing some Lularoe leggings despite my extreme aversion to this trend. LOL In my defense, my SIL gifted them to me at Christmas. And for the record, while they are soft, I am still not jumping on this bandwagon. I’m not a bandwagon jumper. 😉
Patiently, or not so patiently, waiting for my new shoes to arrive from the recent Shopbop sale. I’m linking them below just in case you are needing some ballet flats, too. My day job requires me to wear business casual clothing. Fall/Winter/Cold Weather Spring, my shoe selection consists of boots and booties. And while I still wear booties in the warmer months, I don’t particularly like to wear heels every single day. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some heels. But not every single day. So some new flats were in order. The beige pair are Tory Burch and the black pair are Sam Edelmans. We shall see if I fall in love with how they fit/wear. Did you grab anything from my Birthday Wishlist??
**If you are looking for the Create & Crave Link Party, we are taking a short break but will be back in May!!**
