Butter London gifted me 7 Lippy Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons to try out. The following post is my honest experience.
I think I’m in lippy heaven here. Recently I received a surprise gift from Butter London that included 7 of their newest lip shades in their Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon line. I’m a fairly new Butter London fan so I was excited to try out some more products. I’m currently wearing one of their nail polishes on my toes that I absolutely love. I added a fun sparkly glittery top-coat to make the bold orange-ish red color stand out. So pretty. Anyways, I digress. Let’s chat about these fun colors.
I think my all time favorite color out of these is definitely the Primrose Hill Picnic. It’s such a bold and bright pink and right up my alley. A close second is Ruby Murray. It’s such a gorgeous shade of red that it compliments the cool-tones of my skin. Finding red lip color has been challenging of late because everything seems to lean towards the warm tones, so I was excited to finally find a red that pushed more cool tones.
The smoothness of these lip crayons is awesome. I did feel the darker colors tended to bleed just a bit, but I think a lip primer would fix that in a jiffy. I also like that each lip crayon comes with a built in sharpener. So if you are away from home and need to sharpen your pencil, it’s right there waiting for you!
