This past weekend, I co-hosted a Beach Themed Baby Shower for my sweet friend. She’s having a girl and has named her Coraline. The baby’s room is all beach themed so I decided that needed to be the theme for her shower. The colors were coral and shades of teal.
I handmade her shower invites:
I handmade her tablecloth and bunting:
For her “guest book” I had everyone write a message to the baby and to the parents and place their messages in the bottle:
I found a cake maker in Dallas to make a Sand Castle Cake. The flavor was pumpkin spice and it was so yummy!! I handmade the floral arrangements (bought flowers at a wholesale floral place in Houston):
I found this ship wheel in an antique store in Huntsville, TX. My friend had been looking for one to use as decor in the baby’s room. She had it refinished and I borrowed it for the decor. I added a handmade Baby sign:
Diaper Cake made by my friend’s sister:
I added a bunting of baby clothes behind where my friend would sit to open her gifts:
Me and my beautiful friend (with the cake devoured in the background..ha!):

So many great elements! Any chance you’ll provide a tutorial on the scalloped tablecloth? Hard to tell from the pictures… did you use plastic or fabric?
