This 5-minute make routine is written in partnership with Neutrogena & Mirum Shopper. All opinions are 100% my own.
Raise your hand if you have to apply makeup every single day before you can leave the house. No judging. For the most part, I have to wear AT LEAST mascara and lip gloss to feel put together, but it’s rare day when I’m not wearing at least the basics. But there are morning when I’m hitting snooze for far too long and I don’t leave myself much room to apply my full face. (And truthfully, I think my skin thanks me…lol). Queue the 5-minute makeup routine. It’s super simple and you’ll be ready to go in no time! Today I’m sharing my makeup routine that seriously takes me 5 minutes and it features Neutrogena’s NEW Hydro Boost Makeup.
First up is Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel. I’ve actually been a fan of this product for awhile now, having been introduced to it last winter when my skin went bonkers with the dryness. So it’s a definite staple in my skin care routine during the winter months (I can’t use it much in the warmer months because of how oily my skin already is). I apply it, evenly, all over my face and neck. Make sure to get it massaged into my skin.
Next up: the concealer. I’m using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Concealer and I am LOVING the coverage and the feel of this concealer. And I learned something recently, courtesy of my photographer, how to get the most out of concealer. Think of your face as a map. Draw upside down triangles under your eyes and fill them in with the concealer stick. Draw parentheses around your nose and mouth. Draw an upside down chicken foot between your eyebrows (3 lines like 2 V’s put together). Take your concealer brush or beauty blender and blend into your face.
Next in line is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint. It’s light-weight but has a decent amount of coverage, which is a plus for me because I have some uneven skin color in areas around my face. I always feel better when they are concealed a bit more. Loving the applicator. Makes me feel like it’s a concealer wand. It makes it super quick to apply and then blend in with my beauty blender.
Next, I set it all with a powder and then add a quick swipe of blush to my cheeks to bring in some color and add some dimension. It’s amazing what a little color can do!
Sometimes I just swipe on one coat of mascara, throw on some lip gloss and call it good. Just to keep things super simple. But other days, I like to bring some shading to my eyes as well for an extra level of color to my face. Last but, definitely not least, are my lips. I cannot stand my lips to be dry. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment has become my best friend. I use as a base and then add just a hit of pink to my lips with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Shine.
And that’s it! A super easy 5-minute makeup routine that anyone can accomplish in the morning! (no matter circumstance!)
I’m really loving this latest line from Neutrogena. Knowing that it is helping bring more moisture to my skin in these dryer, winter months, is an added bonus! The products are made with Purified and Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid which acts as a sponge for dry skin cells and gives your skin a moisture boost. Your skin and lips will feel silky smooth. Neutrogena’s Hyro Boost Hydrating Tint leaves your skin moisturized for up to 24 hours, won’t settle into fine lines and feels weightless. And the Lip Shine is non-drying, non-sticky and keeps lips plump all day.
You can find ALL of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost products at your local Walmart! And be sure to watch Miranda at SlashedBeauty.com teach you how to get flawless looks with each of these products over on Walmart.com! #AceYourBaseWM

I love the more natural makeup look. I just got some of the Neutrogena hydro boost stuff last week, and am liking it so far. It moisturizes without feeling oily or leaving any sort of residue on my skin. Thanks for sharing your tutorial at the #HomeMattersParty
