Last night I decided to try out a recipe I had seen somewhere in the interwebs. I didn’t really remember where I had seen the recipe or how to get back to it, but I remembered the ingredients and thought I’d take a stab at putting it together. Meet the S’mores Bars:
1 roll/log of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Package of Hershey Bars (Milk Chocolate) – the package that contains several bars
1 package of mini marshmallows
Preheat your oven to 350 F.
Take a 9 x 13 baking dish and line it with graham crackers.
Roll out the chocolate chip cookie dough so that it fits in your 9 x 13 baking dish (I used my hands/fingers after my failed attempt at using a rolling pin..ha!)
Bake for 8-9 minutes.
Break apart the Hershey bars and place individual pieces around on top of the cookie dough. I ended up using 3 whole bars.
Pour 3/4 to the entire bag of marshmallows on top of the chocolate pieces.
Bake until marshmallows are fluffy and lightly browned on top. (I think I baked mine about 10 more minutes).
I highly recommend that you eat this immediately as when the marshmallows begin to cool down, it makes it that much harder to get out of the dish. 😉 These are amazing!! If you let the dish cool completely down, just reheat in the oven to get everything warm again so you can maneuver the pieces out of the dish.
Let me know if you make these! I’d love to see how you like them! 🙂
