Okay, so here are my answers….
1. What are you currently reading? Tell us about it.
Another Jennifer Crusie book…although this one is like 3 books in one…and Jennifer just happened to write the first story and now I’ve not read the other two stories (written by fab authors, I’m sure…I’m just biased)…LOL
Goodreads.com Synopsis:
Sizzle by Jennifer Crusie
Business takes a backseat when successful ad executive Emily Tate meets Richard Parker. He’s an accountant who’s been sent to keep her in line and under budget in her ad campaign for a sensual new perfume called Sizzle. And if Emily’s not careful, she could well melt in Richard’s hands.
Too Fast to Fall by Victoria Dahl
For Jenny Stone, driving is her escape-from her past, her problems, her quiet life in Jackson Hole. But after Deputy Nate Hendricks stops her-again-for speeding, she could lose more than just her license. She could lose her heart. Nate seems to think that Jenny should replace her love for fast driving with something even more…heart pumping. And despite her need for speed, Jenny’s never been one for defying the law.
Alone With You by Shannon Stacey
When waitress Darcy Vaughan’s friend asks her to help out with the launch of a fledgling restaurant, she’s happy to oblige. Little does she know the owner is Jake Holland, the perfect guy who slipped through her fingers after their one night of passion. But for Darcy and Jake, one touch was just not enough
2. Recommend a book that has changed your perspective on life.
This question is a toughie…probably the most recent book, that was of the non-fiction variety, that I sought after to try and figure out why I was feeling the same way as the statement on the front of the book was MFW seeks BFF.
As an adult, I’ve had such a hard time of making friends. It’s partly due to me being on the road full time. I have lots of long distance friends, but not many at home. And the ones at home, have their own lives, so connecting within the scope of 2 days that I am home (all the while keeping my hubby happy and connected) is a struggle. Balance. That’s the key word. But being on the road really makes it tough to have friendships!
3. What book do you recommend the most to people?
Anything by Mary Kay Andrews. Great beach reads. Long enough to pull you into the story. A little bit of romance, a touch of mystery and lots of charm and sass. 😉
4. What are the top 3 books on your “to-read” list?
eekk…I have an entire bookcase full of books that are on my “to-read” list. 😉 And half of them I don’t remember until I go home and decide to pick a “new” book to read…lol
I am excited to read “The Paris Wife” which is our next month’s book club read. After announcing our next 3 reads, about half-way into February I was shopping at Target and spotted “The Paris Wife” and thought to myself, ohhhh that’d be a good one to read. Totally not remembering that it is our April read…lol I’m retarded sometimes.
I would like to read “Eat, Pray, Love” as I did recently enjoy the movie. But besides those two books, I’m not certain what is still sitting on my shelf…although I do have them all sitting on my phone in my Book Crawler app..I’m just too lazy look. 😉
5. What do you “do” while reading? (i.e. listen to music, eat) Any weird reading habits?
I love reading in the bath. And I love reading on my couch with a few pillows and a warm blanket and just my table lamp on. No music, no sound, just me and my book. 🙂
Okay, now it’s your turn! Link up your post now!! 🙂

I totally skipped Question 2 in my post, because I couldn’t think of anything, but MWF Seeking BFF absolutely changed my perspective. I don’t travel a whole lot, but it is still hard to prioritize friend time when life is so busy with work, and husbands, and everything else. I think right after I read it, I made more of an effort, but I’ve gotten lazy again. I need to get back on track!

I can’t wait to read The Paris Wife! And I am always confused about people that can read in the tub. I worry about dropping things!

Thanks again for the fun Twitter chat tonight! I have heard great things about MWF Seeking BFF; I’ll have to add it to my list. Also, reading in the bath is the best!

I’d love to read without any music or sound, but that’s only possible when my son is in school and my boyfriend’s at work… so usually I have to read with lots of noise… after a while, I get used to it, though… it’s the same way I have to write! Thanks for sharing your books!
