Let me start off by saying that life is about the Little BIG Things. And this is one of them…
Last night, the #LiteraryJunkies had our twitter party book club chat (my online book club). We were chatting about Jenny Lawson’s book, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. If you aren’t familiar with Jenny Lawson, her handle is The Bloggess. She’s a fellow blogger and a fellow Texan.
So rewind to the end of our twitter book club chat last month…I made the announcement on Twitter that we would be reading The Bloggess’s book. And then this happened…
And I about peed my pants. From pure excitement that The-Freaking-Bloggess started following me on twitter!! Holy moly!
Now cue to this month’s twitter party book club chat about her book. And then after our chat this happened…
And I about peed again. LOL Y’all…that is just a huge deal for me. I always get super excited when I have authors tweeting back to me or RT my stuff or brands…that stuff just rocks my socks off cause I’m just little ole me!
But to have The Bloggess freaking tell you that she eavesdropped on your book club chat and that we helped her out of her writer’s block…OMG!!! I just had to record all of this! One of the coolest nights ever!!! And I would totally be okay if she wanted to tweet (or ReTweet) about me or the #literaryjunkies again. ๐
Tell me something that has made you pee your pants since you’ve been blogging?? I want to know your coolest little BIG THING moment thus far!

SO COOL! Do a little dance!! I heard Kelly Stamps from Kelly’s Korner speak tonight so I didn’t make it in time for the twitter party (but my post is up). The first time I met Kelly, I recognized her in Chic-fil-a and went up and introduced myself at her table. That was an exciting moment. Then last week Amanda from kevinandamanda.com “liked” my instagram picture and I did a little happy dance. It’s the little things ๐

That is so freaking awesome!! How neat that she tweeted about it too ๐
I’ve been reviewing books lately and I had an author write to me about my review, and I thought that was so freaking awesome. I love how authors will take the time out of their day to respond to their fans!!

haha That is awesome!! My weird “big” thing isn’t really blog related, but maybe me giggle and think why? I followed Joey Lawerence and shortly after I noticed he started following me. I was like, hum? why? lol It was pretty neat though.

Awww that’s awesome lol. I’m still amazed by every comment I get haha. I probably respond with a full paragraph to everyone who takes the time to not only click the link to my site, but share their thoughts with me, as well =D

Holy author awesomeness! I’m sad that I was there to witness that moment. I wanted to read this book so bad but due to a situation I couldn’t. It’s definitely still on my to read list for sure and to see that she’s so interested on what her readers say. Makes me wants to every book she writes, I love involved writers.

I get excited over every comment, tweet, post, because like you said, I’m just lil’ ol’ me. ๐ So happy for you! That’s awesome! ๐

I get excited any time someone tells me they made a recipe from the blog. The fact that they took the time not only to read the blog, but trusted me enough to go make a recipe always makes my day!
