Hi Friends! Can you believe how fast the year is going and that we are quickly approaching the end of the year? Today’s craft is a fun take on one of my favorites. A couple years ago I made some Scrabble Coasters (and also some corresponding Christmas ones); but today I added something that every craft can use – glitter!
This craft is so easy to make and would be PERFECT for Christmas gifts. They are easy to make and can easily be personalized for each recipient.

Need help coming up with your words? Head to this post for 4 Letter Words for Scrabble Coasters! You can also use 3-letter words and then using a blank tile (or the back of a tile if you run out of blanks) to fill in the empty space.
One thing nice about using the cork sheets is that they have some nice 90 degree angles to align the tiles. To attach the tiles, simply run a line of glue on the cork and then place the tiles in order.
Once the glue has dried, use a foam brush to coat the top of the tiles with Glitter Mod Podge. The Mod Podge will go on white; but once it dries, the glue aspect is clear, leaving just the sparkle of glitter remaining. Use scissors, or an X-Acto knife to cut the cork along the edges of the Scrabble Tiles and you are done!
Seriously, this is such an easy DIY project that looks awesome. Who are you going to make these for?

I love this DIY! We love Scrabble, so it would be the perfect addition to our coffee table. Did you find a website that sells tiles, or did you have to buy the whole game?

Hi Kendra, Thanks for this post. I have an old scrabble set that is missing a ton of pieces and this is the perfect way to repurpose- and thanks so much for the four letter word list and great suggestion about using the back of tiles as blanks to get 3 letter words- it really helps!

Such a good idea, too bad we donated all of our games to Goodwill after the boys got older. #WWDP
