Hi, friendssssssss! I’m back with another super fun Do It Yourself beauty post! Today we are going to learn to make easy DIY Peppermint Bath Salts. I’ve crawled out of the artic temperatures for a few minutes to share this one with y’all! It’s been so super cold in New Jersey, like below zero temps, tons of snow and ice everywhere. Whenever that type of Winter comes into play my body starts to ache, my bones get stiff and I would love nothing more then a nice warm bath.
The ingredients for this are super easy!
- 1 TBSP Sea Salt
- 3 TBSP Epson Salt
- 1 Drop of red food coloring (optional)
- 25 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
I mix my salts together in a small bowl first and then drop in the food coloring.
Mix the salt and food coloring together until the food coloring dissolves completely. Take your Peppermint essential oil and use your dropper to add 25 drops and mix again.
Super easy, right? I transfer my salts into a seal-able container because this method is enough for three to four baths depending on how much you like it. Peppermint can be a little strong for some so either use less drops or just don’t put more then a tablespoon into the bath you’ve drawn yourself.
You could also go ahead and double or triple the recipe and turn these into gifts for friends! They will keep for about a year or more (if they last you that long) and make awesome shower and birthday gifts.
Will you try out these super easy DIY Peppermint Bath Salts? Let me know what DIY post you want to see next!

Soaking in Epsom salt when you’re in pain can feel so good but it can’t compare to how it would feel and smell with your bath salts! They look so pretty too! Thank you for sharing on Party in Your PJ’s.
