This Caramel Apple Candy Corn cocktail is such a great Fall treat. Combining caramel apples and candy corn, it’s a Fall Festival in a glass!! I set out to create something unique and I really wanted to infuse some vodka with candy corn. The result…OMG yum!! So, let’s get to making this cocktail!
Makes 2 Martini’s.
Caramel:
6 Tablespoons Brown Sugar, packed
1.5 teaspoons Butter
Splash of Heavy Cream
Garnish:
Apple slices
Crushed Candy Corn
Cocktail:
2 oz. Sour Apple-Flavored Schnapps
2 oz. Butterscotch-Flavored Schnapps
2 oz. Candy Corn Infused Vodka
2 cups of Ice
Candy Corn Vodka:
2 cups Vodka
1 cup Candy Corn
Directions for Candy Corn Vodka:
Combine the ingredients in a glass jar. Seal and store in a cool, dry place for 3 days.
Directions for Martini:
In a microwave safe bowl, add Caramel ingredients and cook on High for 40-60 seconds (or until it starts to boil). Dip the apple slices in the caramel and add the crushed candy corn to both sides. Set aside (I placed mine in the freezer to help harden the caramel). Let the remaining caramel cool a bit.
Spoon the cooled caramel into the bottom of the Martini glasses. Place glasses in freezer to help harden the caramel a bit while you’re making the cocktail.
In a cocktail shaker, place all 3 liquors and the ice and shake well. Strain into the chilled martini glasses and garnish with the candy corn apple slices.
Enjoy!!
