This quote can’t be any more true if I had come up with it myself. I’ve always been a self-starter. I’ve always had big dreams. I’ve always known that I was going to have to be the one that made them come true. If you don’t have drive, you are going to end up being someone that people will hire to make their own dreams come true. I’ve had jobs in my life where I knew that they were just going to be jobs used as my stepping stones. I knew that I was helping someone else’s dreams come true.
Currently I’m a contractor in the oil and gas industry. Yes, I’m making someone’s dreams become a reality, however…I’m not an employee. I’m a contractor. I negotiate my own rates. And the money is too good not to take. So it’s what I’m doing at this moment…another one of my stepping stones.
My hubs and I own our own business back home. We own rental property too. We are working at our dreams both ways. This blog is one of my dreams. The projects that I’m working on behind the scenes are my other dreams. I’m making my dreams a reality. I’m building my dreams every single day.
Ask yourself this…do you want to build your own dreams or work for someone who is building theirs??
And as a bonus…here is the Build Your Dreams graphic that I made just for you. 🙂 Print it out, put it in a frame and make it one of your life’s motto’s. 🙂
