It’s another #bloggingedumacation sesh! One of the best tips I’ve ever received as a blogger was to not pay attention to my stats. Because really, you should be building a community around your blog not worrying about your numbers. But in the same breath, stats are what brands and networks are interested in knowing when trying to decide if you would be a good match for them.
For me, stats are a tool to track growth. Not a tool to be obsessive over. I do track my stats each week so that I can track my progress, but I honestly, write them down and then put my notebook back away. I may compare to the previous week or to the previous month, but it’s just a number that gets put in a book. I’ll refer to it when I’m applying for campaigns. And it makes things move a whole lot faster when all your stats can be at your fingertips.
So today, I’ve got my Blog Stat Tracker to share with you. Feel free to print it out and use it. I’ve left a blank space on the end for any other stat you may want to track.

I agree that building a community is most important! I use google analytics regardless though I really enjoy seeing how people come across my page. Whether it be from comments on other blogs or search engines.
I know we’ve been talking about engaging with your community and building a community on your blog. Love this tracker! I had a spreadsheet kinda-sorta set up on my Google Drive, but I let it get away from me. Back to the chopping block! I may just have to snag this! Thanks!
I was just thinking about that today while we were driving. I was wondering what other bloggers kept track of for their blog. Then I get to the hotel and see you posted this! Amazing!!!
