What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before? I started the Texas Women Bloggers community. We are a blogging community of over 385 women bloggers across the state of Texas. Also began planning our debut event, a Girls Night Out Charity Fashion Show and Silent Auction to benefit The Ladder Alliance. It’s going to be an amazing event with Kiki La’Rue hosting the Fashion Show. So excited!!!
Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn’t make any resolutions and I’m not sure if I’ll make any for next year. I think I will set goals for 2014 though.
Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes!! My bestie! And there’s still one on the way who will be making his debut before the year ends (yay Nicole!!)
Did anyone close to you die? Thankfully not this year. I’m so glad because I need a break from people in my family dying.
What countries did you visit? Just the good ole US of A
What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013? Less debt. 🙂
What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory? I don’t remember the exact date cause I’m terrible with dates but the day the tornado hit my neighborhood in May.
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Creating the Texas Women Bloggers community
What was your biggest failure? I don’t think I had one.
Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes…injured my ankle in a Mud Run in April that is still giving me problems. Sucks to be getting old. 😉
What was the best thing you bought? My car.
Whose behavior merited celebration? I have no idea. My bestie cause she made it through labor and delivery?? 🙂 I think that calls for a celebration!
Where did most of your money go? Lowering our business debt.
What did you get really, really, really excited about? Texas Women Bloggers!!
What song will always remind you of 2013? I don’t think I have one.

Happier or sadder? I guess I’m happier. I don’t remember last year’s feeling so this is hard. LOL
Thinner or fatter? Just the same.
Richer or poorer? Richer cause I have less debt. 🙂
What do you wish you’d done more of? Spend time with friends and family

How will you be spending Christmas? At my dad’s house in Oklahoma with my family.

What were your favorite TV programs? Greys Anatomy, Scandal, So You Think You Can Dance
Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? LOL oh my….I don’t hate anyone. dislike yes, but hate..no way
What was the best book you read in 2013? Toooooooo many books to pick the best
What was your greatest musical discovery? Several You Tube cover artists
What did you want and get? A car
What did you want but did NOT get? Nothing that stands out
What was your favorite film of this year? Oh man…I don’t keep track
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I honestly don’t remember what I did..but I turned 32
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Not working over the road
What kept you sane? Blogging 🙂
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Fancy?? Josh Duhamel
What political issue stirred you the most? The health care stuff
Who did you miss? My mom and brother
Who was the best new person you met this year? Stephanie
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013. Work on relationships with people who work at them just as hard as you do. Don’t bother trying to make a relationship work if that person isn’t willing to make it work either. And…surround yourself with positive people. Always.
